CBM 5/6/700 - Notes

Please note:

  1. I no longer own my 500 or 600 computers so cannot answer any new queries about them. This information was uploaded in order to help anyone who does have one of these machines and who wanted to know more about them. All of the software has been tested and works on the Vice emulator V2.4.
  2. For more information on these old computers go to Edward D. Shockley's CBM B Series pages and Steve Gray's CBM-II page on the 6502 org site.
  3. For those with CBM-II (600/700) systems please check out Christian Krenner's amazing Space Chase game. As it relies on the 80-column 6545/68B45 video chip, it also works on the 80-column PET systems such as the 8032/8096/8296.
